GROUND UPDATE
Great thanks to all of the members everyone who came along to help with the ground work this weekend.

We got the car park cleared and levelled and the pavilion cleaned through and made ready for the season.

The nets were put up and the surfaces treated to kill the moss off.

Almost everything is now ready for the season we just need more warm sunshine and less rain!

Thank you to our club sponsors.

SAINSBURYS ACTIVE KIDS

Thank you for your support and your donations of Active Kids vouchers!

We collected a large number of vouchers which have been banked towards the 2018 collection - this will enable us to get some larger equipment to support with junior coaching.

Bishop's Waltham Cricket Club is a long established club, formed in about 1770, with strong links to the town - you would be joining one of Hampshire's most historic clubs.

The club has many active teams:

  • 4 teams in The Hampshire Cricket League, with our first team playing in Division 1

  • an Evening League side,

  • a Sunday Friendly X1,

  • 4 junior teams – U9, U11, U13 and U15,

  • 1 team in the Winchester & District Winter Indoor League.

We play at 2 home cricket grounds: "Albany Road" in Bishop's Waltham and "The Holt" at Salt Lane in Upham.

Bishop's Waltham Cricket Club has been awarded the prestigious 'Clubmark' status.

We have 4 qualified umpires, 14 qualified coaches, who are all DBS checked and a Club Welfare Officer with particular responsibilities for young players.

Coaching is held for all ages indoors from January to March, then outdoors, at Albany Road, during the summer.

We welcome potential new players (adults and juniors), volunteers and sponsors and if you would like to get involved in your local Cricket Club, please do not hesitate to contact us.
